Eco Wave Power has reported the completion of a medium-scale version of its Wind Clapper and Power Wing wave energy generation system. The company has released a video showing the system in action and is currently undertaking testing and evaluation before work begins on the construction of the first commercial scale EWP wave power plant.
Israel-based wave power designer and manufacturer Eco Wave Power (EWP) has completed the first open water phase of testing for its new wave energy device. The company said it successfully installed a medium-scale wave energy power plant in the Black Sea during April.
The Tel Aviv-based company, Eco Wave Power, has successfully installed a medium-scale wave energy power plant in the Black Sea. The installation of EWP's system, took place during that month in recognition of the international Mother Earth Day, celebrated in more than 175 countries every year.
